This cluster strategy "Supporting the Growth of Water Utilities" aims to increase the number of "Growing Water Utilities" that can raise funds for expansion and improvement of their water services to realize the vision of "universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for all”.JICA aims to deploy its cluster strategy to more than 40 water utilities by 2030.
By the end of 2023, cooperation is underway with 56 water utilities in 29 countries.
