Global Expert Group Meeting in preparation of the SDG7 review at the HLPF 2023

To support the review of SDG 7 at the HLPF, DESA will convene with the support of UN-Energy an expert group meeting at UN Headquarters in New York on 11-12 May 2023. This meeting will bring together a broad range of experts from the UN System, governments, the private sector, academia, and civil society, to discuss progress and challenges regarding SDG 7, identify opportunities for action, and consider all of the inputs resulting from the broader process of consultations, including regional, thematic and multi-stakeholder consultations, to produce a consolidated summary note.
