Announcement: Under-Secretary-General Letter to Member States - 2023 Water Conference and Interactive Dialogues
Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 75/212 of 21 December 2020 and the USG's letter dated 16 September 2022, the United Nations Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the Objectives of the International Decade for Action, “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018–2028 is now scheduled to be held from 22 to 24 March 2023 at UN Headquarters, New York. The one-day preparatory meeting for the Conference convened by the President of the United Nations General Assembly on 25 October 2022, finalized five themes of the interactive dialogues. The proposed themes are supported by the five accelerators of the SDG6 Global Acceleration Framework1, and the three principles of the Conference.
