Announcement: Background Note by the Secretary-General - UN 2023 Water Conference Preparatory Meeting

Pursuant to the General Assembly resolution 75/212, this background note was prepared for the one-day preparatory meeting being convened by the President of the General Assembly on 25 October 2022. This note outlines a proposal for themes of the five interactive dialogues to be finalized during the meeting and based on consultation with Member States, stakeholders, as well as members and partners of UN-Water.
