Background
The Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) of the United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) is organizing a workshop titled "Voluntary Local Review Series: Monitoring, data and indicators" as part of its capacity building activities related to the follow-up and review of SDG implementation.
The workshop aims to bring together representatives of cities, regions and national governments to share good practices and lessons learned on monitoring progress towards global goals at the local level and exchange views on the role of data and indicators for our SDG implementation. The workshop will also address how cities and regions are addressing data challenges in their Voluntary Local Review processes and reflecting findings in their reports.
