Background
DESA in cooperation with ESCWA, League of Arab States (LAS), UNRC and in partnership with the Government of Sudan represented by the Ministry of Finance and Economic planning, is organizing a national webinar on 19 January 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Khartoum Time (8:00 AM to 11:00 AM NY Time).
The webinar in Sudan is one of a series of webinars targeting West Asia and North Africa countries and aiming at strengthening the integrated planning capacity of national stakeholders involved in COVID-19 recovery policies and building back better towards achieving the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs.
The webinar will bring together a wide range of Government, CSOs and private sector representatives engaged in national implementation of the COVID-19 recovery plans and building back better towards the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs in Sudan. The webinar will also include representatives from DESA, ESCWA, LAS, UNRC, United Nations Country Team and other development partners in Sudan.
