Background
In partnerships with UNCTAD and UN regional economic commissions, DESA co-hosted the Global Policy Dialogue (GPD) on Post Covid-19 Resurgence of MSME and Competition Policy on 1-3 December 2021. The dialogue is an interactive discussion that brought together representatives of international organizations, officials of MSME and competition authorities of government counterparts as well as private sector partners and researchers to discuss how competition and MSME policies will reinforce each other to support the post Covid-19 resurgence of the MSME sector. The event prioritized sharing experiences and best practices supporting MSMEs that have emerged during the pandemic.
