United Nations Global Compact

    Description
    Intro

Our ambition is to accelerate and scale the global collective positive impact of business by upholding the Ten Principles, based on UN Conventions, and delivering the SDGs through accountable companies and ecosystems that enable change.

To make this happen, the UN Global Compact supports companies to:

    1. Do business responsibly by aligning their strategies and operations with Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption; and
    2. Take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
    Description

The world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. A call to companies to align principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and take actions that advance the Sustainable Development Goals.

    Governed

Executive Office of the Secretary General. Foundation for the Global Compact.

In 2025 the UN Global Compact will celebrate its 25th anniversary. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made to date and an inflection point to guide where the global corporate sustainability movement should be directed for the next 25 years.

On this occasion, we seek to gain perspectives from CEOs of companies committed to upholding the Ten Principles of the Global Compact and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These perspectives will help to inform key messaging leading to milestones during 2025, notably UN General Assembly Week.
