SustainAGRO is a partnership between organizations involved in socioeconomic and environmental development of agriculture whose interest is to promote sustainable practices and contribute to strengthen of green economy.
As we understood agriculture is a key activity to achieve sustainability, the initiative was designed to establish the primary sector as a leading role in Rio+20 agenda through communication activities.
Farmers all over the world are the driving force for the adoption of sustainable production practices. Agriculture provides opportunities for decent work and help society to meet nutritional needs of a growing population, thanks to constant productivity gains, technology, innovation and efficiency.
