IGMC is the best practice of sustainability both in the building sector and urban construction sector, which combines green economy and culture, and it will duly serve as a model to motivate forward-looking governments, enterprises and social forces to work together to build more of this kind of low-carbon towns and in due time it will support the UN agenda in response to climate change.
GFHS engaged international experts to develop the 12 principles and leading IGMC Standards including relevant indicators which will direct the development process. GFHS will cooperate with public and private sectors to support IGMC pilots.

Implementation of the Project/Activity
Several new sustainable cities will be built within about 5 years. Every IGMC pilot will meet the goals of net zero carbon and zero waste by 2020.When every IGMC pilot is accomplished, the annual turnover is about 5 billion yuan; tax payment 500 million yuan; it will attract tourists 2 million person-time per year; it will generate employment nearly 10,000 people; it will promote the green economy, improve human settlements.
