PPP to develop reliable tools and build capacity to manage forests in the Congo Basin, a critical region for biodiversity conservation.
Implementation of the Project/Activity
Commitment developed to serve African REDD Focal Points in each of the 6 countries – certain ministers have signed the specific REDD data licence: François NAOUYEMA, Minister of the Environment of the Central African Republic, José ENDUNDO BONONGE, Minister of the Environment, of Nature Conservation and Tourism of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Henri DJOMBO, Minister of Sustainable Development, Forest Economics and Environment, Republic of the Congo.
Supportive resources will be funded by an AFD grant and in kind contribution from EADS Astrium.
