    Description
    The programme seeks to build the capacity and confidence of individual women, particularly rural and urban young women, to participate in decision-making processes and asume positions of leadership, building on existing successful programmes. The programme also invests in the capacity of women's organisations to work together and link to the broader women's movement.

    End all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere

    5.1.1

    Whether or not legal frameworks are in place to promote, enforce and monitor equality and non‑discrimination on the basis of sex

    Women's civil society in Fiji, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea will have successfully advocated for increased coherence between national and regional commitments to gender equality, i.e. CEDAW & UNSCR1325
    Young women are mobilised, skilled and coordinated to publicly address issues affecting their lives
    There will be increased opportunities for women's meaningful participation in decision-making in local or provincial government settings
    There will be increased voter willingness and ability to support women candidates in local or provincial and national level elections in Fiji, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea
