Global voluntary corporate goals

    Description
    Description
We have set voluntary longterm global goals in the areas of environment, safety, employees and society. Through these goals, sustainable development at BASF is transparent and verifiable.
    Implementation of the Project/Activity

This project wants to achieve these goals by continuing optimization of the facilities and by investing in new plants. With the Verbund concept BASF closely interlink BASF production plants to create efficient value chains that extend from basic chemicals right through to high-value-added products. BASF spend a third of our annual research budget to improve resource efficiency and develop products reducing greenhouse gas emissions. To support the achievements of these goals BASF's guidelines and requirements are constantly updated.
