    Description

    To bridge the information gap between job seekers and employers and also provide an efficient platform for matching between jobs and skills in the labour market and hence, improving the employability of the labour force.

    Implementation of the Project/Activity

    In the job centres,employers will be depositing their vacancies and employees can search for employment and deposit their resumes for the prospective employers to see. Hence assist in providing a platform for matching demand and supply of labour for both local and international employment.

    Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

    Staff will be trained and recruited for operationalising the job centres. Clients will be accessing job vacancies and other job opportunities through online platforms using equipment that will be procured. The job centres will also be linked to the Labour Market Information System (LMIS) to track how many jobs have been created.

    Coordination mechanisms

    Under the initiative, staff will be recruited to oversee and report on operations happening in the job centres, procurement of equipment and furniture in the job centres as well as developing regulations for running the job centres

    Evaluation

    Using the Labour Market Information System, it will evaluate number of people that have beneffited by getting jobs using their access of job centres quarterly
