Eco-efficiency improvement

Description
Description
Brisa identified eco-efficiency as a priority area for action, defining quantitative objectives for 5 fundamental indicators: consumption of water, electricity, fuel and emissions and waste generation.
Implementation of the Project/Activity

The targets defined for the eco-efficiency index are addressed by the organization as a strategic priority, which means they are achieved through:

- Behavioural aspects, related to the company employees best practices, namely through eco-driving as a way to reduce fuel consumption.

- Operational improvements, supported by better procedures, technology and equipments, namely through greater efficiency of the network's lighting, a component that represents almost half of the Group's total consumption
of electricity.

Many other examples cover waste and water management. These initatives are detailed on Brisa's Sustainability Report, available at Brisa Official Website
