    Description
    La gestion durable des cosystmes de mangroves ne peut se faire sans une adhsion et une participation effective des populations locales. Or, bien souvent, ces populations peroivent difficilement les consquences long terme de la destruction des mangroves et leurs impacts environnementaux, sociaux et conomiques dsastreux. Il convient donc de btir une campagne de sensibilisation avec des donnes scientifiques prises dans lenvironnement de la population cible. Cest dans ce contexte que ce projet a t initi. De faon spcifiques, il sagira de :

    1- Cartographier la dynamique des cosystmes mangroves (2000-2016) par images satellitaires.
    Activits : 1- Acquisition dimages satellitaires ; 2- Production de carte de dynamique des mangroves 2000 et 2016 ; 2- Production de la carte de dynamique future.
    Rsultats attendus : 1- Carte et lanalyse de la dynamique des cosystmes de mangroves de 2000 2016 disponibles ; 2- Carte prvisionnelle de la dynamique des mangroves disponible.

    2- Caractriser la diversit floristique des diffrents milieux cologiques des berges de la lagune
    Activits : 1- Missions dinventaire floristique ; 2- Caractriser la diversit vgtale et floristique de la zone dtude ; 3- Analyser les risques de perte de biodiversit vgtale.
    Rsultats attendus : 1- La diversit floristique de la zone dtude est connue ; 2- Limpact des pressions anthropiques sur la diversit floristique est connu ; 3- les risques de pertes de la diversit floristique sont connues

    3- Evaluer limportance socioconomique et culturelle des cosystmes mangroves.
    Activits : 1- Faire une enqute socioconomique dans les villages riverains ; 2- hirarchiser les activits socioconomiques en rapport avec lexploitation des mangroves ; 3- analyser la durabilit des activits socioconomiques en rapport les mangroves.
    Rsultats attendus : 1- les activits socioconomiques adosses lexploitation des mangroves sont connues ; 2- la durabilit des activits lies aux cosystmes mangroves sont valus.

    4- Caractriser la variabilit des paramtres physicochimiques de leau avec la perte des mangroves.
    Activits : 1- Faire une campagne de collecte de donnes des eaux de la lagune Ebri; 2- caractriser les paramtres physicochimiques des eaux ; 3- Analyser les risques sur la qualit des eaux.
    Rsultats attendus : 1- la variabilit des conditions physicochimiques de leau de lagune induites par la coupe des cosystmes mangroves est value et connue ; 2- les risques de perturbations de la qualit de leau sont connus.

    5- Organiser des campagnes de sensibilisation autorits administratives et des populations
    Activits : 1- sensibilisation des autorits administratives, des chefs traditionnels et populations locales.
    Rsultats attendus : 1- les autorits administratives les populations sont sensibilises sur les risques de la disparition des cosystmes mangroves et leurs consquences.
    Ce projet port par le Centre national de Floristique en partenariat avec quatre autres structures publiques (laboratoires centre de recherche et administration). Ainsi, une activit excute par un partenaire A est suivi et value par un partenaire B.
