Let us take this opportunity to brief you on some positive developments that have taken place in the past few years in our program (Continuing Medical Education) development cluster. Meet our network – circling the globe every day – for health and education.
The purpose of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) is to provide challenging curricula to assist healthcare professionals to raise their levels of expertise while fulfilling their continuing education requirements, thereby improving the quality of healthcare.
The philosophy behind this purpose is based on the belief that continuing education is a life-time commitment requiring knowledge of current trends and developments in the science, technology and economics of healthcare. Currently Working on SDGS:

• To catalyze collaborative networks – cutting across disciplines, sectors and borders.
Challenges faced in implementation
Digital Gap between the developed and developing countries is significant, especially Post COVID. To ensure that no one is left behind, open science, artificial intelligence (AI) and Big Data Management are the key to decision-making process, in the future. We stressed that in our Side Events Planned at the UN Headquarters, to all UN Member States. Some resistance was seen by some networks, who do not have clear understanding of AI and Big Data Managment in Health and Education Sectors. We believe, the utilization of AI and Big Data Management, in Health and Education Sectors, can be capitalized upon through the construction of dynamic, robust and inclusive public data ecosystems, via UN funded data co-operatives and algorithms.
WHEC is sponsoring 2 Side Events, at UN Headquarters, New York, NY, during 2024 ECOSOC Partnership Forum on 30 January 2024; and during Commission for Social Development 62nd Session (CSocD62) on 6 February 2024 to stress on - reducing the digital gap and achieving education- and health-for-all. WHO and UNESCO is also participating with us in the Side Events.
