Achievement at a glance
Indonesia has progressively implement several programme to achieve eradication illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU). At national level, we encourage participatory from community level in the effort on combatting IUUF in Indonesian waters as well as strengthen collaboration amongst institution to strengthen programChallenges faced in implementation
There are some challenges as follow:1. Lack of capacity for surveillance
2. Lack of coordination amongst instutions

Actions
1. Coordinated patrol between Indonesia dan Australia in boundaries waters2. Establish Joint Communique with 22 countries in Combatting IUUF and promoting sustainable fisheries governance
3. Establish mobile application as a tools to report of IUUF activities from community to surveilance control center
4. Operate surveillance control center to observe Indonesia waters 24 hours a day
