Achievement at a glance
The voluntary commitment on ocean literacy was successfully completed. An Ocean School programme was developed, and implemented in Canada, and Latin America. A global ocean literacy conference was held in Venice in December 2017, with 110 participants from 36 countries. An online platform, acting as one stop shop for ocean literacy developed (oceanliteracy.unesco.org), and a professional training for the private sector organized in Venice in December 2019Beneficiaries
