DETAILS OF THE ACTIVITIES DURING 2017-2019(March)Honouring the commitment as stated above AMCA scientists under the leadership of Dr. Anupam Ghosh in collaboration with Dr. I. Nageswara Rao, U.G.C. Scientist of the P.N.C.O. Department (Physical, Nuclear Chemistry & Chemical Oceanography/Marine Chemistry) under School of Chemistry of the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003, Andhra Pradesh, India, has conducted research on Ocean Acidification and Oil Spill situation in and around Indian coastal zone.
1. Research Collaboration with Andhra University (As detailed above) caused to obtain very scientific data procurement ;
2. Educational collaboration with Temple Adventure (NGO)at Pondicherry has been initiated;
3. Techno-Scientific Collaboration with other NGOs at Visakhapatnam have been established that helped profoundly to obtain many previously unknown social and scientific information.
4. Data obtained by AMCA Scientists during previous decades & compiled with the present study period shows very interesting data which are of great concern to the natural coastal ecosystems under present study.
5. Experience of the fisher people and other coastal stakeholders have been recorded by speech, video and still photograph.
Challenges faced in implementation
1. Mainly the funding.\r\n2. Commercial attitude of various NGOs, and \r\n3. Unauthentic data recorded in various official documents.Beneficiaries
