Training of Trainers Workshop, 25 - 29 September 2017, Seocheon, Republic of Korea<br>This workshop was convened with financial support from the Government of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with the National Marine Biodiversity Institute of Korea and other partners. The workshop provided 14 experts from developing countries with tools, guidelines and information needed to develop and implement successful training programmes in their respective countries, with a focus on cross-sectoral approaches to conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity, and approaches to training, capacity development and stakeholder engagement.

<br>National Workshop for Cameroon, 17 - 19 January 2018, Yaound, Cameroon
<br>This workshop was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development of Cameroon, and the Global Ocean Biodiversity Initiative, with the financial support of the Governments of the Republic of Korea and Sweden. This workshop identified potential EBSAs (ecologically or biologically significant marine areas), and potential management measures in these areas.

<br>Subregional Workshop for the Coral Triangle, 31 July - 3 August 2018, Jakarta, Indonesia
<br>This workshop involved experts from Indonesia, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, and Papua New Guinea, as well as from global and regional organizations and indigenous peoples and local communities, who gathered to identify ways to enhance implementation of the Priority Actions to Achieve Aichi Biodiversity Target 10 for coral reefs and associated ecosystems

<br>Workshop for Northern Africa and the Mediterranean, 15 - 19 October 2018, Tangier, Morocco
<br>The workshop is being convened in collaboration with the Government of Morocco, with financial support from the Governments of France and Japan. The workshop seeks to enhance the capacity of countries in the region to conserve and sustainably use marine and coastal biodiversity in order to achieve the Aichi Biodiversity Targets, in particular Targets 6, 10 and 11, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
