<br>Approximately 100 representatives from RSOs, RFBs, United Nations agencies, international organizations, national governments and research institutions attended the meeting and developed the Seoul Outcome Plus 2, which paves the way to initiate regional dialogue and partnership projects for the achievement of Aichi Biodiversity Targets and Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, the Outcome includes four concrete roadmaps developed by participants through regional group discussions (i.e. Africa and Indian Ocean, South and Central Pacific, Wider Caribbean and Central America, and East Asia and North Pacific), with a view to effectively implementing the Seoul Outcome and further enhancing cross-sectoral collaboration at the regional level. These roadmaps have also attracted donors interest, and a series of discussions aimed at generating large-scale funding for the implementation of the activities outlined in the roadmaps took place during the meeting.
