Progress report for
EQUALS: The Global Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age
Achievement at a glance
The partnership has launched several collaborations in the areas of ICT access, skills and leadership for women and girls. Partners (now numbering 60 organizations) are coming together regularly (virtually, every 1-2 months and in person at major tech and or gender equality events) to expand their reach and impact through information sharing, learning together and collective action. Among other benefits, partners and others have learned of new funding opportunities, raised funds, strengthened relationships in their field, found new supporters and collaborators, increased coordination on the ground in the pilot country, raised wider awareness of their work and outcomes with key new audiences, identified gaps and opportunities, participated in dialogues picking up new strategies to overcome barriers to gender equality, and have started collaborations to address challenges and bring women and girls to tech and tech to women and girls.
