Achievement at a glance
CoopeSoliDar R.L together with fisher organizations has been developing communitary mapping of the marine territories of small scale fishers in the process towards the recognition of Marine Responsible Fishing Areas in the Pacific and Caribbean coast of the country. Together with the governmental institutions fishers and other civil society organizations have been preparing a national project of law for the implementation of the Voluntary SSF Guidelines, the project of law brings into the national policies the human rights base approach to marine conservation.\r\n\r\nSimplify versions of this project in law are now been shared with fishers and their organizations throughout the country to initiate a national discussion in this field.
