SeyCCAT has recently announced the first competitive Blue Grants Fund call for proposals, utilising proceeds from the Seychelles marine debt-for-nature swap. The first call focuses on supporting the second of SeyCCAT's strategic objectives, that being to empower the fisheries sector. It is anticipated that approximately US$300,000 will be dispersed through this first announcement, with future years dispersing up to US$750,000.
