Implementation of an integrated approach to coastal and marine ecosystems for sustainable blue growth in the Southeast Pacific (SPINCAM Project Phase 3)
Achievement at a glance
The SPINCAM project already delivered the Strategy for Public Participation and the Communication Plan that will support the Joint Roadmap for public and socio-economic players’ participation in support to marine spatial planning and sustainable blue growth in the Southeast Pacific Region. The Regional Atlas and the Project website are already available www.atlasspincam.net<br>
<br>National institutions are implementing until the end of November 2017 a macro-survey on institutional capacity development with more than 500 inputs in the region that will allow the project to define the action plan for institution capacity development in support to Agenda 2030 implementation.

<br>A workshop is organized to start the national and regional identification and classification of coastal and marine ecosystems and its services, including human pressures that will support the project’s activities implementing the pre-planning steps of marine spatial planning and the development of spatial indicators related to sustainable blue growth in the region.
