Achievement at a glance
The massive demand for complementary of graduates worldwide especially in developing countries indicates a mismatch between academic education and industry requirements. Then, the webinar was conducted tackling “Higher Education Impact Measures for Sustainable Development; the event included speakers from UN, Regulators, Quality Assurance Bodies, Industrialists and members from Higher Education Institutions” . The main aim of the webinar is to bridging the qualification gap between academia and industry for developing quality graduates contributing for sustainable future, research outcomes that allows sustainable growth, devising policies and procedure to promote quality education, gender equality and collaboration with industry for innovative solutions. Universities world-wide aligned their strategies with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), the strategies are translated into initiatives that are annually reported to sustain development and growth at national, regional and global level. This event discussed HEIs UN initiatives and impact measures to assess the status of HEI. The event discussed the following topics: the academic, professional, and continuing education programs, as well as research and development programs contributions for UNSDGs and Universities Directions and considerations for UNSDGsNext Steps

This event promotes all organizations for bridging the qualification gap between academia and Industry for equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities to UNSDGs and work in collaboration with different universities, public and private sectors with government officials towards UNSDGs. The event included speakers from different types of industries and organizations.
