Achievement at a glance
Conservation of water is a broad concept that relates to River, Ponds, Lake, Ocean and Rainfall. But, in deeper sense, conservation is the worthy use of water to save all living beings beginning from vegetation to Human beings including the Environment and Ecosystem. Water is the second supreme ingredient on the construction of Human Body next to Earth as per mythological belief and treated as the baseline element and the elixir of life. Hence, it is contemplated to have the sustainable management of this most precious gift of Nature to save all the living beings and the Planet.Challenges faced in implementation
ARASMIN is accredited to United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) with Special Consultative Status and we are working on different sectors of development like Conservation and protection of Forest and Environment, Biodiversity, Wildlife, Desertification, Conservation of Ocean Ecosystem and Lake Ecosystem with Lively-hood empowerment. Hence, we will prove our efficiency and Field of competence by implementing this project. We have not yet faced any challenge on our way of implementation because we are working with the community sector partnership and getting enormous support froom them.Next Steps

Since the inception, we have been working with the Partnership support of the poor Tribal community in the Districts of Kandhamal, kalahandi and Bolangir in Odisha State of India. The life of the Tribal community is based upon three basic elements called Land, Water and Forest. They are very innocent by Nature. Poverty and Hunger are their Born-friends. They are getting the maximum benefit from our work. So, they are supporting to our activities with heart and soul.
Actions
We have also displayed some Wall paintings, doing Street theatres to educate the Citizens and solution finding programs through Conferences, Seminars and Workshops are in force. We have taken the strategy to promote their Culture to achieve our works, because the Tribal People are more conscious and acquainted to Zoolatry.
Creation of educative Stakeholder’s Forums like Village Water Bodies, Block level Water Bodies and Regional Water Bodies and formation of Networks to obtain the Community participation and trans-boundary cooperation.
We are Involving the women mass in the project activities as the women mass are very sensitive and play a descriptive role for careful management of water which prioritizes on Gender sensitization.
We have created of some Transformational Village Leaders for collaborative support and cooperation, mobilizing for water resource conservation and wider spread of our activities in social media.
Restoration of Water reservoirs and mini ponds in the Jungle and near the Rivers for the Wildlife animals to be used during the summer season and Creation of underground Water Recharge points through water Recharge system.
Plantation of different water harvesting trees in the Jungle like Banyan Trees, Cadam trees, Tamarind Trees and Pierre etc.
Preservation of water through Cultural dependence and to improve their Spiritual power as the life of the Tribal people is based on Culture.
Periodical Awareness campaigns through Network meetings, posters, leaflets, Wall paintings, Street theatres and Audio-visual shows to educate the Citizens and solution finding programs through Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.
Providing integral education to the Stakeholder Community, School Teachers and Students on different aspect of water and prove that preservation of water is the great indicator of Development and water is the life of all living beings.
