Education for underrepresented groups and improvement of inclusion, equity and diversity actions in the IT and other business areas
Achievement at a glance
Starting in October 2022, the project's viability underwent a comprehensive analysis. By November, we had established clear strategies and goals, leading to an actionable plan in December. As 2023 began, a team was assembled, resources were allocated, and by March, a pilot plan was tested. April saw continuous improvements, from infrastructure development to team training. In February 2023, the project transitioned into a social impact business, cementing its position in the second sector and participating in mentoring for entrepreneurs from the favelas during the 2023 edition of ExpoFavela São Paulo. May witnessed the pre-launch of a partnership program aimed at IT companies.
June brought the establishment of our first "Acceleration" partner during the Pride LGBTQIAPN+ event in São Paulo. By July, we received recognition and incubation from the Digital Hub of Mogi das Cruzes and secured our second partner in the same category.
August was noteworthy as the "Diversidade Digital" initiative was presented to the City Hall of Mogi das Cruzes during an "Governo Aberto" meeting.

Challenges faced in implementation
During 2022, we faced challenges in obtaining incubation and acceleration. After the pilot, various obstacles prevented us from establishing new groups. However, given the developments in July and August, we're optimistic about future acceleration. Within the Brazilian context, we encountered difficulties in explaining the significance of SDG Acceleration Actions for businesses and the broader country. Additionally, obtaining investment or bank financing proved challenging. In 2023, the main challenge continued to explain the importance of the SDGs in the private sector and continue with our partnership program, in addition to obtaining financial support.
