EU funds in the context of the Barcelona Convention with dedicated actions to be carried out by REMPEC on ratification and implementation. Launch of studies to extend scope to nitrogen oxides. LIFE projects funded to support the Mediterranean Emission Control Area with awareness raising, sharing of best practice on implementation and enforcement of the sulphur in fuel requirements.
