Achievement at a glance
Fishery and aquaculture certification will allow consumers to demonstrate the quality, good practices and sustainability of a hydrobiological product. In addition, it will generate a differentiation and a special value to its products within markets and governments. The Ministry of Production promotes the creation of the “Sustainable Aquaculture” Certification Label, with the support of the Peruvian intellectual property regulatory agency (INDECOPI), as a strategy to promote the development of sustainable, inclusive, innovative, competitive and quality aquaculture. This label is aligned with the application of good practices and contributes to the improvement of processes, ensuring a healthy and safe final product that can be promoted and positioned in the market, promoting its consumption and generating consumer confidence.Next Steps
