Progress report for
100 Voices for Our Planet
Achievement at a glance
In our report's Engagement and Performance Metrics section, we examined and documented the endeavors of 13 participants, with 10 organizations led by females and 3 by males. Spanning regions such as Africa, Asia, and North America, participants represented countries including Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Singapore, and the USA. Operating in diverse industries—from Renewable Energy to Tech & Space Innovation—all participants incorporated technology tailored to their fields. This cohort's impact and advocacy derive directly from their initiatives. Of these Voices, 30.8% champion Education and Advocacy, while 69.2% actively pursue Direct Actions. Notably, some participants assessed their environmental impact, with one achieving a significant 200 metric tons reduction in carbon emissions and another redirecting 120,000 pounds away from landfills.
Our exploration unveiled a shared commitment to environmental stewardship among these individuals and organizations. They actively educate communities on resource preservation, challenge conventional beliefs, foster an environmentally responsible mindset, and execute projects to protect the environment. This collective effort contributes to the potential replenishment of aquifers and, through sustained adoption, promises positive changes in environmental practices.
The findings underscore the pivotal role of individuals in environmental conservation, emphasizing the importance of learned and practiced behaviors shared within communities. These actions create a ripple effect, instilling a collective responsibility for environmental well-being.

Challenges faced in implementation
We acknowledge areas for improvement, particularly in streamlining data analysis. We aim to address this by collaborating with specialized stakeholders who can contribute expertise in specific areas.Additionally, we faced delays in collecting information from certain participants who encountered challenges accessing the necessary infrastructure for data transmission due to insufficient connectivity.
Next Steps
Our next steps are as follows:1. Compile a video of the participant’s work
2. Engage more stakeholders with expertise in certain areas to streamline the data analysis process.
3. Assess 10 more Voices by the first quarter of 2024
4. Do a follow-up on the 13 Voices to measure their progress and report their progress
