She is currently CEO of the "Women in Parliaments Global Forum", an international not-for-profit foundation which serves as the network of the global community of female parliamentarians. Prior to this, Ms. Silvana Koch-Mehrin was Vice-President of European Parliament, Chairwoman of the FDP in the European Parliament, Member of the Committee of Petitions, Substitute of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, and Substitute of the Delegation EU-Croatia Joint Parliamentary Committee. In addition, she served as Vice-Chairwomen of the ALDE group, Chairwoman of the FDP in the European Parliament, Member of the Committee on Budgets, Substitute of the Committee on Budgetary Control and Member of the Delegation for relations with the Maghreb countries and the Arab Maghreb Union.
