
Ms. Ohoukoh Akom Ornella Francisca
Regional Focal Point West&Central Africa Habitat III Working Group, IMCS Pax Romana (Major Group of Children and Youth)
With a background education in Finance and Accountancy, Ornella Ohoukoh has worked in Togo and Ivory Coast in different industries such as Banking, Insurance, and International Development. Today she has almost 10 years of experience in social advocacy, working on gender issues and urbanization at national and regional levels. Passionate with international development, she is currently member of the IMCS Pax Romana, United Nations Taskforce Team and represents the movement as a West and Central Africa Regional Focal Point for the Habitat III process, within the UN Major Group for Children and Youth (UNMGCY). She is passionate with politics, especially women implication at political levels and is conducting many youth led lobbies at the national level in her country Togo, such as the implication of youth in the draft of a National Urban Policy, aligning the requirements of the New Urban Agenda NUA. She is part of the 2018 Class of Women Deliver Young Leader, and is correspondent of African Politics and Policy, an online journal where she produces articles focusing diverse range of topics. On the behalf of the UNMGCY, she recently contributed to the preparation process of the VNR report of her country Togo.
