
Ms. Annisa Tryanti
Focal Point on Disaster Risk Reduction at the UN Major Group on Children and Youth
Annisa Triyanti is originally from Indonesia. She is currently the Focal point for UN MGCY Youth Science-Policy Interface Platform on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Furthermore, she is involved in both SDGs and DRR related processes with extensive fieldwork experience. Since 2012, she is employed as a junior lecturer at the Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Indonesia. She is currently working on her PhD project at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR)-University of Amsterdam, Department of Geography, Planning, and International Development, started in 2014. Her current PhD research topic focuses on coastal disaster governance in Indonesia and India.
