Mr. M. Riaz Hamidullah
Director General, Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh
Mr. M. Riaz Hamidullah joined Bangladesh Civil Service (Foreign Service) in 1995 and since then, served in the Permanent Mission to the UN (New York), diplomatic Mission to India (New Delhi). Mr. M. Riaz Hamidullah worked extensively at both policy and programme levels, on regional cooperation and regional multilateralism within the (Bangladesh) Government as well as at the Secretariat of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) (as a Director). Since 2011, he serves as a Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working on European affairs and since 2012, in charge of Multilateral Economic Affairs. In that capacity, he continues to anchor Bangladesh's engagement on Post 2015 process vis-a-vis UN.
