Mr. Didier Babin
Chair of the International Coordinating Council (ICC) of the UNESCO Man and the Biospehere (MAB) Programme and the President of the French National Program Committee for the UNESCO MAB
Dr. Didier BABIN is a researcher (CIRAD - France) and associate professor (UQAM - Canada) on ecosystem accounting to integrate the depreciation of natural capital in national and corporate accounting systems. He has been National Focal Point of the SBSTTA of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and senior programme officer on "Biodiversity for development and poverty eradication " with the CBD Secretariat. Previously he was involved in the emergence of the science-policy interface IPBES. He is the current Chair of the International Coordinating Council of the UNESCO - Man and the Biosphere Program and of the French MAB Committee.
