Mr. Bill M. Halkias
President, International Road Federation
Mr. Bill Halkias is the President of the International Road Federation based in Geneva serving the 2019-2022 term. He is the Managing Director and CEO of the Attiki Odos (Attica Tollway) Operation and Maintenance Company of Athens Greece, since 1996. Past President of "ASECAP" (2018-2019) and served 4 years (2016-2020) on the Executive Committee. First President of "HELLASTRON", the Greek Association of Toll Roads from 2014-2019. Past President of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers and currently Member of the Board of the Hellenic Construction Industry Council. Member of the BoD of "IBTTA" for 8 years and Member of the Freeway Operations Committee of “TRB” for 9 years. He has 40 years of experience in the international transport field, with the first 15 years in the US. A Civil Engineering graduate of the National Technical University of Athens and a Postgraduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology in the US.
