Keina Yoshida

Dr Keina Yoshida is a barrister specialising in international human rights law at Doughty Street Chambers. They are also a research officer at the Centre for Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics and Political Science working on the ERC funded project Gendered Peace. Keina has an LLB (ling Franc), LLM and PhD in law and sits on the editorial board of Feminist Legal Studies. Select published work includes: Feminist Conversations on Peace (Bristol University Press, 2022), The nature of Women, Peace and Security: a Colombian perspective, International Affairs, Vol. 97, Iss. 1, January 2021 (short listed for the International Affairs Early Career Prize 2022); The domestic prosecution of gender crimes in Argentina, Human Rights Quarterly, 2017. Keina has taught and lectured on human rights and feminist international law at universities including the University of Iceland, SOAS, City University, the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (Ghana) and LSE. They have a forthcoming book with Jennifer Robinson.
