
H.E. Ms. Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter
Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, Germany, and Member of the German Bundestag
Ms. Schwarzelühr-Sutter obtained a MBA degree from the University of Zurich. Since 1999, she served as municipal councillor in Lauchringen, and served as deputy Chairman of the ASF, District Association of Waldshut. Since 2001, she was Chairman of the SPD Kreisverbands Waldshut. Since 2004, she was a member of the county council district of Waldshut. Since 2007, Ms. Schwarzelühr-Sutter was a member of the state executive of the SPD Baden-Württemberg. From 1999 to 2013, she was in the municipal council in Lauchringen. She was a member of the Regional Association of the Upper Rhine and Lake Constance (2005-2014). She was a member of the Bundestag from 2005 to 2009 and again since October 2010. Since 2007, she has been a member of the state executive of the SPD Baden-Württemberg.
