Annick Girardin has served as Minister of State for Development and Francophony, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development since April 2014. She has been National Assembly Deputy for the constituency of Saint Pierre and Miquelon since 2007. She has been Member of the Territorial Council of Saint Pierre and Miquelon since 2000. She was also Vice-President of the French Section of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF). She has been Member of the Executive Council of the Left Radical Party (PRG) since 2012.
