Mr. Zhao Chongjiu is Vice Minister of Transport. He was born in 1965 in Liaoning Province. He is responsible for water transport management, safety supervision management, infrastructure quality supervision, search and rescue and emergency management. Since 2021, he is Member of the CPC Group and Vice Minister, Ministry of Transport (MOT), China. From 2017-2021, he was Vice President of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. From 2016-2017, he was Member of the CPC Group and Chief Planner, MOT, China Director-General, Department of Comprehensive Planning, MOT, China. From 2014-2016, he was Chief Engineer, MOT, China. From 2011-2014, he was Director-General, Department of Science and Technology, MOT, China. From 2009-2011, he was Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director, China Communications Press.
