H.E. Mr. Luis Basterra
Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Argentina
Mr. Luis Basterra has been serving as Argentina’s Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries since December 2019. From 2011 to 2019 he was a member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies representing Formosa Province; he also served as vice-president of the National Agricultural Technology Institute (INTA) from 2009 to 2011 and as Minister of Production of Formosa Province from 2003 to 2009.
