H.E. Mr. Ferit Hoxha
Permanent Representative of Albania to the UN [TBC]
In his present role since 2009, Ambassador Hoxha has been active in foreign affairs for more than 20 years. He was Director for Multilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Albania, Ambassador to the European Union (1998-2001), and Ambassador to France (2001-2006). He also served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2006-2009). During this time he also served as National Coordinator for the Alliance of Civilizations and as Albania’s Governor to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors. He is a graduate of the University of Tirana in Albania in French language and civilization, and has attended the Netherlands Institute of International Relations at Clingendal in The Hague.
