Dr Motodi Maserumule,CSIR Group Executive: Advanced Production and Security
Dr Motodi Maserumule is the CSIR Group Executive for the CSIR Advanced Production and Security division. He has over seventeen years’ experience in executive leadership roles within the research and technology organisations as follows:
• Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR):
- Executive Director: CSIR Modelling & Digital Science operating unit (2009 to 2014);
- Capability and technology development in Information Security, Robotics and Mathematical Modelling competency areas.
- Executive Director: CSIR Defence and Security Cluster operating unit (2017 to 2019);
- Technology development and commercialisation across technology areas applicable to arms of service in defence and security.
- Group Executive: CSIR Advanced Production and Security Division (2019 to the present)
- Future Production Mining Cluster,
- Future Production Manufacturing Cluster,
- Defence and Security Cluster.
• South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (NECSA):
- Divisional Group Executive: NECSA R&D Division at South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (NECSA)
