LGBTI Stakeholder Group
The official side event of the LGBTI Stakeholder Group during the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2020.
We will discuss challenges faced by LGBTI populations globally highlighting specifically the impact of COVID-19 on LGBTI individuals and the obstacles this presents in terms of achieving SDGs.
Best practices will be shared to ensure that no one is left behind in the response to the pandemic. The event is meant to identify key areas of need, connect civil society and States on these needs of LGBTI populations, and most of all to facilitate close collaboration on potential solutions.
