Background
UN-DESA, in collaboration with the Global Innovation Exchange, launched a Global Call for Innovations for the SDGs – a call for innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs and sustainability change agents worldwide to submit their innovations as workable solutions for sustainable development (especially the five SDGs that have been selected for focus in 2018 in particular: SDGs 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15). Poster entries were also solicited from research institutions. Selected submissions from these calls are featured here, to help support awareness raising, broader dissemination, and discussions around scaling up, mentorship, enterprise development and policies.
