This side event will be organised by the WMG with the aim to enable an in-depth discussion focused on the challenges and lessons learnt from the regional engagements and coordination mechanisms in different regions and their relevance in strengthening the HLPF processes from a feminist perspective. The discussion will also include views and concrete recommendations building from experiences at the regional level for a more inclusive, action oriented and transformative HLPF. The position paper prepared by the WMG for the 2020 HLPF will inform most part of the discussion.
