APFSD APRCEM (Asia Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism),
Korea MGoS, Bhan Ki-moon center for SD at Yonsei University and Korea SDG Network
This side event aims to share the best practices of stakeholder participation by applying the UN MGoS mechanism at regional and national level and to discuss the productive way to make an advance in civil participation at national level. “No one will be left behind” is pledged as a vision of 2030 Agenda. To keep this vision, entities from diverse parties (Ministry, International organization, national CSO, Regional CSO, national CSO, academy etc.) will discuss the way to make an advancement in civil participation mechanism. Including the application of MGoS mechanism at national level, the Republic of Korea is working on developing its country-specific goals and targets towards sustainable development (K-SDGs), and it will be also introduced.
