Virtual (New York time)
Background
CDP and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
Improvements in data collection can contribute to ensuring a stable climate and reducing biodiversity losses while maintaining an inclusive and strong economy. Measuring and disclosing the private sector’s impact will enhance sustainable decision-making processes and strengthen accountability. This event brings together a panel of experts to discuss the role of non-traditional data sources in environmental data transparency, tracking progress, understanding impact, and raising ambition. Speakers will share their experiences with private sector data and explore how to translate corporate SDG engagement into action, moving towards an integrated practice of disclosure that creates impact and contributes to achieving the SDGs.
